Companies in today's diverse society are grappling with how to adjust employee behavior and be more inclusive in the workplace. Achola, a Solopreneur and consultant, will share her insights on this topic at the upcoming event titled "Inclusion in the Workplace: Taking the Guesswork out of Diversity Equity and Inclusion (D.E.I.)."

Achola is a D.E.I. strategist and policy analyst with over ten years of experience in human rights. She is the founder of Inclusive Iceland, a boutique consulting practice that specializes in strategic planning and structural development while utilizing proven design frameworks to promote equity. Achola's expertise lies in designing projects for underrepresented groups, which has played a vital role in her advocacy for equity and inclusion. Her work has gained recognition both in Iceland and internationally, as she has collaborated with the Icelandic local government and the U.N.H.C.R. Achola's approach to D.E.I. is holistic and intersectional, combining practice, process, and policies to equip staff with the necessary tools to build equity in their respective organizations. She is also passionate about data and connecting systems with the social and political environmental climate. Having lived on three continents and traveled to over 90 countries, she has vast experience working with diverse cultures and systems. Achola aims to weave historical connections and current contexts to better understand inequities and create effective solutions for promoting equity and inclusion.
